What's the Buzz?
2009 is the year to think practical, to get our biggest "bangs for our bucks." That might mean for some of us a day or two at a basket convention close to where you live, or maybe just a night to weave a basket with good friends at your local guild or at the house with a few weaving friends. We offer discounts to teachers - ask us for details!
BasketBees takes orders through email and over the phone, plus we also vend at 4 or 5 different conventions each year. It's great to be out and about introducing weavers to our unique slot that is enjoyed by so many. It's true - No Glue + No Tricks = No Frustration! If you haven't given a BasketBees wooden base a try, you just don't know what you've been missing. Our bases are easy to use, even for those who haven't had a good experience with other brands of wooden bases!
I know my first experience with a "Brand - X" wood base was a nightmare. BasketBees bases are easier for those of us with some arthritis in our hands. Insert your dry spokes into the slot, make spacing adjustments, and then wet the spokes. Relax and enjoy weaving the rest of your basket with good friends and good times.

What Are "Bee Kits"?
Most weavers have the natural or smoked reed to weave the main body of a basket. We collected all the little accent pieces to make your basket a BasketBees basket! The "Bee Kit" contains a BasketBees base, pattern, and the accent pieces that you don't have in your stash. It could be dyed reed, leather handles, beads, a basket charm, tie-on, or craft wire.
